Nando wines are produces and bottled by B.C.A. 1875 Srl (AKA Baglio Curatolo Arini). The story begins in 1875 when a young Vito Curatolo Arini decided to build a winery at the center of his vineyards at Marsala. Vito used Arini to distinguish himself amongst others with the Curatolo name because he had a dream—he would take his own premium marsala to the world. With a talent for the business, hard work, and tenacity, he managed very quickly to turn the winery into a very successful exporter of Marsala. And in the late 1970s, a range of still wines, made only from local Sicilian grape varieties, was added to the estate's portfolio. The business remains in the hands of the Curatolo family. Made from a blend of four native grapes, their Sweet Marsala has aromas of dried figs, sun-dried prunes and berries and the sweet over-ripe flavors of dried fruits.
