The name alludes to "old New York," but this gin is in fact made by E. & J. Gallo Winery in Modesto, California. A Western-style gin made with botanicals of anise, coriander, juniper, angelica, orange, lime, and vanilla, its base is five times distilled and cut with reverse osmosis filtered water. Its citrus forward flavor profile makes it appropriate for use in any gin cocktail or to be sipped neat.
