Yannick Alleno is the culinary mastermind behind Pavillon Ledoyen and L'Abyme in Paris and Le 1947 in Courchevel; over the course of his career he has so far landed a total of 12 Michelin stars. Michel Chapoutier is, a most wine lovers know, one of the top winemakers in the Rhone. Chapoutier's passion for gastronomy as well as for wine led him, over recent years, to partner with two famous French chefs, Anne-Sophie Pic and, with this wine, Yannick Alleno. In both instances, chef and winemaker together purchased selected vineyards in the Rhone and shared in the winemaking process. This collaborative effort is a classic Cotes du Rhone, a 70/30 blend of Grenache and Syrah, rich with savory notes and a long fresh finish.
