When Constellation Brands. one of the world's largest wine companies, bought the brands of The Prisoner Wine Company from Huneeus Vintners in 2016, they acquired not just the superstar blend but four other labels as well, one of them being Saldo. Saldo was originally created to feature outstanding versions of Ziinfandel from different regions in California, and that remains its focus today. Here blended with small amounts of Syrah and Petite Sirah, this is a rich, full red with a smooth palate with a hint of chocolate and a soft, velvety finish
