The Seghesios have been an integral part of the California wine scene since the 1880s, but began bottling wine under the family name only in 1983. The Seghesios have long been considered Zinfandel specialists, and this version will show you why. As with every vintage, it incorporates grapes from multiple diverse lots that span the entire Sonoma County Zinfandel landscape. A small amount of Petite Sirah was added to honor century-old traditions and to provide color and structure. The result is a wine that offers tantalizing raspberry, blueberry, classic briary and spicy flavors with a balance of the components for which Seghesio wines are known.
