The valley where David battled Goliath is now home to several impressive wineries, Ella Valley Wineries among them. Ella Valley Wineries began in 1998 when Danny Velero drove all across Israel looking for the ideal place to reinstitute the wine culture of Israel. He settled on the historic Ella Valley and the Aderet Vineyard was planted in 1997. Hai Vineyards is a private line Ella Valley produces entirely for export. Made from fruit sourced throughout Israel, this Cabernet is medium-full in body (not too heavy) with easy tannins, black currant, blackberry, tobacco and forest floor flavors, plus the lightest touch of smoke.
