Based in Paso Robles, the Rabble Wine Company was founded in 2011 by longtime grape grower Rob Murray and his wife Nancy. Their aim from the start has been to be a grower-driven operation that showcases the best fruit from Paso Robles and the Santa Maria Valley. In addition to the varietal wines and blends produced under the Rabble label, they also have a line of blends under the Tooth & Nail label and two lines of small-lot barrel-select wines, Stasis and Amor Fati. This is a single-vineyard Cab with a spice-driven nose and a palate of tangy plum and underripe berries rounded out with notes of oregano, marjoram, and anise.
