Founded in 1984, Gruet Winery specializes in methode Champenoise sparkling wines. Family-owned and –run, the New Mexico winery produces sparkling wines based on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and a small collection of still wines, with roots originating in Gilbert Gruet’s Champagne house in Bethon, France. Their Brut Rose is a full-bodied sparkler made 100% from Pinot Noir; it has floral and berry aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, finishing delicately with zesty acidity.
