Christian Collovray and Jean-Luc Terrier, both of whose families are from Davayé, a small village located in the south of Burgundy, joined forces in 1986 to create the Domaine des Deux Roches; they are also joint owners of Domaine d'Antugnac, near Limoux in the Languedoc. All members of the two families help in the two domains, with Christian in charge of the vineyards and Jean-Luc managing the vinification. In 2009 Christian’s son Julien joined the family estate, followed in 2012 by his wife Caroline, a trained oenologist with experience t severl estates. This a rich and ripe St. Veran with a medium-weight palate; it is beautifully balanced with crisp acidity and a lovely, lingering finish.
