Located in southern Burgundy, about 12 miles north of Macon, this estate dates only from 2001.Starting with a little more than five acres, Pascal Bonhomme now farms fifteen acres in some of the best-situated sites in the appellation, with most of his vines being more than sixty years of age (although grapes for this bottling are from vines averaging thirty-five years of age). Done almost entirely in stainless steel (only 20% barrel-ageing), the wine shows lots of crisp apple and pear fruit ifted with a hefty streak of citrus-laden acidity.
