Cristom Vineyards was founded in 1992 in Oregon’s Willamette Valley by Paul Gerrie and his wife Eileen. It is today in the hands of second-generation winegrower and owner Tom Gerrie and winemaker Steve Doerner who produce elegant, dynamic Pinot Noirs recognizable by their hallmark style of whole-cluster fermentation using only native yeasts. The Mt. Jefferson Cuvee is a blend of grapes from estate vineyards with fruit sourced from neighboring vineyards; it has an expressive nose of strawberries and raspberries and is elegantly structured, with cherry and cinnamon flavors and refined tannins.
