Emmanuel Reynaud is the fourth generation of wine growers at this estate; he took over from his father at Chateau des Tours in 1997 and now also runs Chateau Rayas in Chateauneuf, following the death of his uncle Jacques Reynaud. His wines are based upon very old Grenache vines, giving wines of little color but great intensity of aroma and flavor. This Cotes du Rhone has seductive aromatics and textural richness; mostly Grenache with some Cinsault and Syrah blended in, it is full-bodied, silky and seamless, with a bright and precise finish.
