There is indeed a maestro Dobel: he is Juan Domingo "Dobel" Beckmann, a 12th-generation tequilero who created this tequila and launched it for Jose Cuervo in 2008. The world's first multi-aged tequila, Diamante is a blend of extra-añejo, añejo and reposado tequilas, aged in new European oak barrels and double-filtered to remove color while producing a crystal-clear spirit of character and smoothness. It has aromas of vanilla and mild oak, complex flavors, and a finish that is smooth, clean and crisp.
