Tequia Ocho represents a partnership between Carlos Camarena, third generation tequilero and the Master Distiller of Tequila Ocho, and Tomas Estes. Ocho is the first tequila to designate both the year it was produced and the precise field from which the family-grown agaves were sourced. Each batch comes from a different field or rancho, contributing distinctive characteristics of that place. The Plata has classic aromas of sweet grasses and creamy vanilla; there is definite warmth and a good mouthfeel but very little burn, and it is light on the tongue with creamy vanilla in the background.
