Lalo - Tequila Blanco (750ml)
"Lalo" is a new top-shelf tequila shared by Texas and Jalisco: the three men behind this Austin-based enterprise are David Carballido, Jim McDermott, and Eduardo "Lalo" Gonzalez, the grand-son of Don Julio Gonzalez Estrada (as in the Don Julio brand). Distilled in Jalisco, Lalo is a rather different, more modern tequila that, like Don Julio, grew out of a special batch of tequila made for friends and family. It has a light, soft, clean, slightly sweet taste that works particularly well in cocktails.
