Founded in 2009, Casa Dragones is the brainchild of MTV co-founder Bob Pittman and dynamic Latina entrepreneur Bertha González Nieves, the first woman to be certified as “Maestra Tequilera” by the Academia Mexicana de Catadores de Tequila, the organization recognized by The Tequila Regulatory Council. The tequila is produced in Jalisco but the company is based in San Miguel de Allende; they initially produced only a “joven” blend, but this Blanco was added to the line some years later. This is a small batch 100% pure blue agave silver tequila, premium in every way: crystal clear, it is full of fresh fruit on the nose with a stunning impression of agave on the palate, followed by hints of black pepper, cloves and mint.
