Voix de la Vigne is the result of a partnership between Robert Morrison, founder and CEO of Authentic Wine Selections, a California wine distribution company, and Laurent Montalieu, founding winemaker of Oregon’s Willakenzie winery. Laurent, in a very short amount of time after leaving Willakenzie, has grown to be among the largest growers of Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley. He farms more than 700 acres of vines, including the venerable Hyland Vineyard which he owns and is farmed using biodynamic methods. This Pinot Gris is immediately captivating: Hints of lemon citrus with surprising depth on the nose are followed by white peach and ripe pear flavors on the palate. The soft finish is lined with just enough honeysuckle to tempt you into some more.
