King Estate Winery’s co-founder Ed King launched the Acrobat line in 2007, intending it to provide accessible, dependable wines for the savvy everyday consumer. Did he succeed? Well, in 2016 their Pinot Gris was named the #1 Best Buy on Wine Enthusiast’s Top 100 list. King Estate sold the brand to Foley Family Wines in 2018, and the brand’s reputation for consistently high quality has been sustained under the new ownership. This is a fresh and vibrant version of Pinot Gris that offers pleasant minerality and nicely balanced acidity that round out a medium-bodied mouthfeel that concludes with a crisp, spirited finish.
