Thomas Henry is only part of the name: it’s Thomas Henry Miiddlecroft; he’s been involved in winemaking in France but mostly in California for more than forty years and is now happily settled in Sonoma, producing Chardonnay, Cabernet, and Pinot Noir, sourcing grapes from small family-owned vineyards in both Napa and Sonoma. This is his Pinot, meant for everyday enjoyment and entertaining; expansive, yet nuanced and smooth, it has aromas and flavors of wild strawberries and raspberries edged with exotic spice on a silky palate.
