Since its creation in 1979, Quilceda Creek has been dedicated exclusively to the production of world-class Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon. Quilceda Creek has had an unbroken string of highly rated vintages, which explains its status as Washington's premier Cabernet Sauvignon producer. A blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak, the 2005 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon benefited from the exceptional growing conditions of the 2005 vintage. The wine is loaded with blackberry, blueberry, plum and cassis with nuances of dark chocolate and violets. Classically structured, this complex wine has remarkable elegance and persistence on the long, pure finish.
