One of the founding wineries of the now famous Margaret River district of Western Australia, Leeuwiin Estate dates from 1973. In 1972, legendary Napa Valley winemaker, Robert Mondavi, first identified the future site of the Leeuwin vineyard as being ideal for the production of premium wine and provided early mentorship to owners Denis and Tricia Horgan in the establishment of Leeuwin Estate. The Siblings label celebrates the family lineage of Leeuwin, with three generations of the founding family now leaving their footprints on the Estate. Spicy and lively, this Shiraz has a nose packed with plums, cherries, and forest fruits and a palate that is rich and generous, with rich flavors of blackberry and dark cherry and soft tannins that provide good length.
