Dutton-Goldfield is a partnership between fifth-generation grape grower Steve Dutton and winemaker Dan Goldfield, longtime colleagues and friends who shared a vision to craft wines that reflected the distinct personalities of their cool-climate vineyards. In line with Dan’s deep affection for Burgundy, they produce only Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. “Dutton Ranch” comprises some 80 separate small vineyard plots, each with its own particular characteristics, in different locations throughout the Russian River Valley. Crafted from multiple vineyard sources, including the well-known Morelli Lane and Widdoes, all farmed by the Duttons, this Pinot is transparent and silky, with lush tannins, bright berry fruit, and equally bright acidity.
