Located in the Pfalz region, in the village of Deidesheim, this is one of Germany’s blue-chip estates. Its history is the story of a family dynasty that, along with others, established and greatly influenced quality-based viticulture in Germany for almost 300 years. Established in 1718, this family estate now covers 105 acres dedicated largely to the production of Riesling. Grapes for this dry version come from vineyards above the Rhine River Valley. The wine is delicately floral, with bright apples and pears on the palate and well –balanced acidity.
