The Gautherin family has tended vineyards in this location in Chablis since 1585, but it was in the late 1950s that Raoul Gautherin founded the domaine as it is known today. In 2008 the next two generations, in the person of his son Alain and grandson Adrien, joined the family business and have since taken the vineyard management and winemaking to new heights. The family owns some 45 acres of vineyard, including holdings in three Premier Cru vineyards and three Grand Cru vineyards. This is their entry-level offering, done entirely in stainless steel; fresh and vibrant, this is classic Chablis with a soft texture with underlying minerality anda lively lemony finish.
