Grupo Faustino is the country's leading producer of fine wines from Rioja and one of the most celebrated names in modern Spanish winemaking. Founded 150 years ago by Eleuterio Martinez Arzok, it remains family-owned and is today managed by Julio and Jose Miguel Martinez, descendants of the founder. With 1600 acres of its own vines, this Rioja producer is fully self-sufficient in the production of its wines. The Faustino I Gran Reserva spends 26 months in French and American oak and at least three years in bottle before release. The wine is clean, complex, and elegant, with wide fruity and spicy notes and a long and silky finish.
