This brown rum from the Dominican Republic is distilled from molasses and aged in used whisky and bourbon barrels. A smooth entry leads to a well rounded, slightly fruity dry medium-bodied palate with roasted nut, dark caramel and vanilla bean. Ending with delicious buttered nut, spice, and caramel notes, Ron Barcelo Anejo rum is hedonistic aged Caribbean rum.
