The Pere Magloire brand is owned by Debrise-Dulac, a company founded in Normandy in 1821. In 1968 the company was taken over by Veuve Clicquot, who sold in 1988 to an independent Norman family group, Pays d’Auges Finances. By 2005 Pere Magloire was well established as the leading brand of Calvados, both in France and throughout the world. This Fine VS is their entry-level bottling, created using several different vintages; with an intensely fresh apple aroma, it has concentrated fresh apple flavors that are straightforward and distinct.
