Nardini is called “the spirit of Italy,” and with good reason: the Nardini family has been making grappa in Bassano del Grappa in the Veneto since 1779. With two distilleries and a bottling facility, the company today has 25% of the total market share with an annual production of four million bottles exported worldwide. "The noble cousin of limoncello" best describes this traditional citron-flavored drink. The citron (“cedro”) comes mainly from the Lake Garda area and only its skin is used. It is transparent and crystalline with a distinct citrus aroma. sweet with predominant lemon flavors, but with a really dry aftertaste that allows it to be a delicate occasional drink. Serve it chilled or mixed in a cocktail.
