Madre Mescal is produced on the Garcia Morales ranch, located in the rolling hills of the Oaxacan Sierras, where the family has been growing agave for centuries. This is an artisanal mescal made by hand in San Dionisio, Oaxaca, following a traditional Zapotec recipe. A blend of 70% maguey Espadin and 30% maguey Cuixe, fermented with local well water and ambient yeast. Madre has a hint of smoke, with a sweet fragrance, herbal notes of sage, earth, and minerals on the palate, with a lingering floral finish.
