Italy’s premier family liqueur producer, Luxardo was founded in 1821 in Zara, a port city on the Dalmatian coast. Founder Girolomo Luxardo, a businessman from Genoa, had moved to Zara with his wife Maria Canevan, who was interest in perfecting a “rosalio maraschino,” a liqueur produced in Dalmatia since medieval times. Her success was such that her husband opened a distillery to produce the liqueur. Over the years Luxardo considerably expanded their portfolio and now produces this Triplum, the result of the distillation of bitter oranges from Curacao and sweet oranges and tangerines from Sicily, enriched by the delicate aroma of orange blossoms. Luxardo's Triplum Orange Liqueur is vibrant, sharp and elegantly dry, with ripe flavors bursting from the glass.
