The Liquori delle Sirene is a collection of bitters and liqueurs made by Elisa Carta, a trained sommelier and olive oil taster and a passionate herbalist. The sights and smells of Lake Garda have been her inspiration (many of the botanicals she uses come from there), and her artisanal products are the result of extensive research and the reworking of old family recipes. She uses no chemicals or artificial colorings of any kind. Her bitter is made from 23 different botanicals, including olive and lemon tree leaves, gentian, ginger, and linden and acacia flowers; all infusions are done separately and then blended according to Elisa’s recipe. Soft and warming but not overly sweet, it is ideal as either an aperitivo or digestive.
