Evan Williams opened Kentucky’s first distillery on the banks of the Ohio River in 1783. Named in honor of that pioneer, this "Black Label" is produced by international spirits giant Heaven Hill. Aged far longer than required by law (generally, four years, thoough there is no age statement), it is smooth and rich, a great introduction to the pleasures of Bourbon.
