This is one of the highest distilleries in Scotland, and its clean heather-honey flavors reflect its Highland mountain environment. Stylistically it is situated between the gentle grassy character of the Lowlands and the austere, firm body of Speyside which begins 25 miles to the north. This Distiller’s Edition is a 15-year-old single malt finished in Oloroso sherry casks. It has light notes of grasses and tropical fruits on the nose, a traditiona; Scotch taste on the palate ffeaturing bright clean flavors, and a long, slow, dry finish.
