This pure grape alcohol is distilled in a specially designed alembic still in France using the aniseed from the reputed Mount Hermon's Al Heeneh area. This spirit is refined to release the purest and healthiest arak. Ksarak is matured for two years in clay jars and only then is the arak bottled for commercialization.
