Casamigos - Anejo (750ml)
Casamigos is “the house of friends,” in this case long-time friends George Clooney (yes, that one), Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman, who joined forces to make what they call “the best tasting, smoothest tequila around.” Working for years with a master distiller in Jalisco, they finally “got it right” and have been drinking this tequila with family and friends for more than five years, but only recently decided to go public with their efforts. The Añejo is aged for fourteen months and has a beautifully pure and refined complex aroma, with soft caramel and vanilla notes. It’s the perfect balance of sweetness from the blue weber agaves, layered with subtle hints of spice and barrel oak, with a lingering smooth finish.
