Sauza Tequila dates from 1873, when Don Cenobio Sauza acquired the “La Antigua Cruz” distillery; it was his son, Don Eladio Sauza, who played a major role in making tequila the national spirit of Mexico. The Sauza brand is today owned by the international firm Beam/Suntory. Pure cane sugars and all-natural ingredients give this unaged Tequila its renowned gold color and mellow character. It is slightly sweeter than a blanco Tequila, making it ideal for use in margaritas, shots, and cocktails.
