Perez Barquero was established in 1905, but it wasn't until Rafael Córdoba García purchased the firm in 1985 that its modern incarnation began. The house owns 250 acres of vines in Sierra de Montilla and Moriles Alto and cellars that have soleras dating back to the founding of the bodega. Pérez Barquero is arguably the top Sherry producer in all of Montilla-Moriles, their wines being known for their balance, elegance, and finesse. This Fino has classic aromas and flavors of molasses, butterscotch, orange peel and vanilla.
