Located just outside of the town of Ascoli Piceno, Velenosi is a dynamic estate headed by the charismatic and skilled Angela Velenosi. Founded in 1984 by Angela and her husband Ercole, the winery today produces 1,800,000 bottles annually. The 260-acre estate has been planted to a number of varietal, both indigenous and international, including Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina, Cerdicchio, Malvasia, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, and Merlot. Made entirely from Passerina, this sparkler is fresh, fruity, and entirely pleasant.
