Underwood is one of three labels under the “Union” umbrella (the other two being Kings Ridge and Alchemist). Union is the brainchild of Ryan Harms, who founded the company in 2005; his aim from the start has been to create something he could share with friends and family and make highly accessible without having to sacrifice quality. In keeping with that philosophy, Harms has pioneered the use of the flip-top can for everyday wines, highly approachable and ready to travel anywhere. A blend of Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, “The Bubbles” is fermented in stainless steel and carbonated; it has appealing aromas and flavors of lemon verbena, white stone fruits, and green apples.
