Tikal - Malbec/Syrah Natural 2020 (750ml)
Ernesto Catena, fourth-generation winemaker and son of the prestigious winery owner, Nicolás Catena Zapata, founded Ernesto Catena Vineyards in Mendoza in 2000; Tikal Natural Winery and Vineyards is one of the projects under that umbrella. Tikal, located in Vista Flores, in the heart of Mendoza, is certified biodynamic; the winery specializes in the production of Malbec blends, here in a 60/40 blend with Syrah. Loaded with flavor, the wine offers a deep, rich color and plenty of black raspberry and plum aromas and flavors, mingled with hints of coffee, dark chocolate, and spring violets. In addition to those plush fruit flavors, it has great purity and a superb texture.
