The Union of Santorini Cooperatives, named Santo Wines, was founded in 1947. Today, Santo Wines, the biggest wine producer of the island, has approximately 2500 members, 1000 of which are active. Their award-winning Assyrtiko makes a unique statement with its varietal character, which embraces white flowers, citrus fruits aromas and intense minerality. The wine is vivid, with a full, well balanced body and distinctive long after taste.
