Azienda Carratelli was founded in 2001 by Giorgio Carratelli, a veteran of thirty years’ experience in the wine business. Located in the Val d’Orcia, in the heart of Tuscany, The company operates largely as a negociant, dealing directly with producers, selecting their best vintages and labels . Initially their focus was on the wines of Tuscany, but they have since expanded, forming partnerships with wineries in other regions of the country, with more than 400 wineries now in their portfolio. In 2022 the company launched irs own line of wines, Radicato, that comprises a range of products from Brunello to Prosecco. This is their Toscana Rosso, a 50/25/25 blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot. Fresh and fruity, it is medium-bodied, with soft round tannins and a long characterful finish.
