Probably one of the most acclaimed houses of Porto, Quinta do Noval has been producing great Porto wines in the heart of the Douro region since 1715. Since 1993 it has been part of the distinguished wine-growing group “AXA Millesimes.” Quinta do Noval Vintage Port is characterized by its purity of fruit and a fine and delicate quality that is typical of the wines of the property in general but which finds its most remarkable and enduring expression in the Vintage Ports. This 2016 is intense and deep, with impeccable balance; it is surprisingly approachable now but merits cellaring for a decade if not longer.
