The Leflaive family has been rooted in Puligny Montrachet since 1717. In 1984 Olivier Leflaive launched his own company with the help of his brother Patrick and his uncle Vincent and quickly established himself as among Burgundy’s finest. He is continually expanding and has acquired several vineyards that allow him to develop and build a range of domaine wines alongside his negociant business. The village of Meursault is an important appellation for Maison Olivier Leflaive as it is the home of chief winemaker Franck Grux. The Maison typically produces up to 10 cuvées including Premiere Crus; Perrières, Charmes, Genevrières, Poruzots and Narvaux. This village Meursault is sourced from many parcels within the appellation; it is medium to full-bodied, supple and elegantly fleshy, with a delicately textural attack and a lively but open-knit profile.
