A world-renowned winemaker, Marcelo Pelleriti splits his time between Bordeaux, where he has make the wine for the four properties owned by the Pere-Verge family since 2001, and Mendoza, where he started his own project, Marcelo Pelleriti Wines, in 2007. He has located his winery in the place where he made his first wine in 1994, a 110-year-old farmhouse he owns in La Consulta, in Argentina’s Uco Valley. With its winning combination of cool weather, high elevation, and well-draining soils, the valley is the source of some of the best Malbec in Argentina. Pelleriti’s Reserve Malbec has aromas of blackberries, walnuts, and hints of chocolate with silky tannins on the palate and a long finish.
