Lusvardi Wine is a small family winery located in the heart of Emilia Romagna, owned by Rita and Andrea Lusvardi. The Lusvardi family had owned and worked some 8.5 acres of vineyards for several decades, but it has been only with the efforts of Rita and Andrea to to produce wines that represent the unique characteristics of the region and its grapes that Lusvardi has become a name to be reckoned with. They work only with grapes that are indigenous to the region, Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco Grasparossa, and all their wines have been certified organic since the 2014 harvest. This rosé is a blend of the two Lambrusco varieties planted here, made using the Charmat method (fermentation in the tank); it is highly aromatic, with intense notes of ripe berries mingled with wisteria, subtle on the palate, with just the right balance of sweetness and acidity.
