Located a little more than seven miles from Nantes, within a triangle between the Atlantic Ocean, the Loire River and the Lake of GrandLieu, Domaine des Herbauges dates from 1864 and has been run by the Choblet family for five generations. The Choblet family pays particular attention to and respects the environment: since 1980 the entire vineyard has been cultivated using sustainable agriculture practices. This is classic Muscadet, crisp, refreshing and dry, with a rich, yeasty bread-like character from ageing on the lees.
