Domaine Tatsis - "Young Vines" Red Blend 2019 (750ml)
Located in Macedonia, in the northern reaches of Greece, Domaine Tatsis was started by brothers Periklis and Stergios Tatsis in the 1990s. From one of the original winemaking families in modern Greece yet famously outliers and rebels in the Greek wine world, they have been organic since the start and biodynamic since 2002. They have a well-earned reputation for making wines that are not only natural but ageworthy and complex. This red is an 80/20 blend of Xinomavro and Neguska; fresh and bright with a relatively light structure, it is fruit-forward, with bright notes of cranberry and pomegranate that are supported by a bit of pepper and sage.
