Philippe Vandelle represents the sixth generation of that family to make wine in the village of l’Etoile in the Jura. Vandelle is a follower of “l’agriculture raisonnée” or sustainable agriculture, which requires compliance with strict specifications, including forty different measures that need to be met His 32 acres are planted to a mix of Chardonnay and Savagnin for white wines and Pinot Noir, Trousseau and Poulsard for his reds.
