Coto de Gomariz is located in the Ribeira region, in Galicia, in western Spain. It is owned and run by Ricardo Correiro, who has been at the forefront of progressive grape growing and winemaking in the region for many years. He farms biodynamically, uses only native varieties, eschews the use of oak, ferments naturally, and bottles without filtration. The winery produces around 10,000 cases from nine wines with “The Flower and the Bee” (“La Flor y La Abeja”) making up the bulk of their production. This 100% Treixadura is a friendly wine with a complex bouquet of lime, salty minerality, and dried flowers. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and beautifully focused, with bright acidity.
